On Sunday 12th November 2023, veterans, cadets, schools and representatives of local organisations paraded from Uphall Community Centre to the Broxburn & Uphall War Memorial at Strathbrock.  Below are some images of the Remembrance Service at the War Memorial:

The annual Purple Poppy Day, organised by the Ancre Somme Association Scotland, was held on the 23 August 2023 at the Purple Poppy Memorial located on the corner of Main Street and Ecclesmachan Road in Uphall.

The Purple Poppy Wreath was laid by ASA Chairman Councillor Harry Cartmill and Depute Lord Lieutenant Allison Kennedy OBE.  Local Councillor Tony Boyle laid a Purple Poppy Wreath, as did Community Councillors Irene Bishop, Lynne McEwen and Jonathan Moore on behalf of Uphall Community Council.  Below are some images from the evening.
